Another option for conservation zone properties is slimline heritage glass. This is a slimline double-glazed unit, smaller than conventional double-glazed units but still very effective for thermal insulation and noise reduction. This is the standard glass that the council’s planning department normally allows for a double-glazing upgrade. If your sash and case are still in good condition, we offer a double-glazing upgrade to the existing windows. This means keeping the same sash and case but offers additional benefits of double-glazing. We will normally provide this service along with our full restoration service to ensure the windows are correctly weighted and operational and free of any rot.
Trade Service
We also offer services to the trade, if your company is involved in sash and case repairs, we can offer heritage slimline double-glazed units and also offer replacement single sashes that can be single glazed or double-glazed.
