Our Promise
We only employ carefully selected, expert installation teams to maintain the Edinburgh Windows and Doors standard. Our teams will prepare the site to ensure minimal interruption and mess. Dust sheets will be used to cover the working area to avoid any damage or mess to your contents and/or property. They will also vacuum after themselves to ensure your property is left the same way they find it.

Our Installation Times
As each installation is different, installation times vary. At Edinburgh Windows and Doors we take pride in a job well done and as such, we won’t sacrifice quality for quickness. On average, a window can take anywhere from 3 – 8 hours to install, but please be advised this is only an approximation. When we have completed the work, all existing frames and rubbish will be removed leaving you with a clean and tidy home.
No high-pressure salespeople
You’ll also be pleased to know that we don’t employ high-pressure salespeople or use cold call tactics. The majority of our work is generated through customer referrals.

Windows are handmade and bespoke to each customer and are assembled using through ostriches and traditional mortice and tenor joints. Glass and specifications vary with each job which means your windows are made specifically for you. We work with both domestic and commercial customers to meet their glazing needs. Since incorporation, the business has gone from strength to strength developing our techniques and service, to become one of the most sought-after sash and case companies in Scotland. We also work with national clients and have supplied our windows to clients up and down the country, from the top of Scotland to the south coast of England who have entrusted us to deliver top quality products.

Both Directors strive to keep all of their businesses the best they possibly can be, ensuring quality products and workmanship is delivered each and every time . Both Director's note that some of their successes include getting their manufacturing facility up and running to provide customers with the best products for the price and reducing time scales for window and door manufacturing. They are also extremely proud of working with the United States Secret Service to provide ballistic glazing protection for the President of the United States during a recent visit. Some other memorable moments include completing commercial work for Auchterarder School where the renovation made a huge difference in form and function to the children and teaching staff there. They have also thoroughly enjoyed working at a beautiful historic building near Morningside Craighouse. The sash and case windows, which are over 100 years old, have been transformed from rotten, non-functional, extremely poor condition, to stunning perfectly functional windows going through their meticulous restoration process. Being able to help preserve Edinburgh's historic character is just one of the perks in this bespoke line of work that the entire team are passionate about.
