About This Project
Stirling University's campus includes significant heritage buildings requiring specialist window care. Edinburgh Windows & Doors was engaged to carry out a large-scale repair programme across multiple blocks of student accommodation.
The project required careful coordination around the academic calendar, with all work planned to minimise disruption to students and staff. Phased scheduling allowed continuous occupancy throughout.
All repairs preserved the original window character — draught-proofing, cord replacement, sash weight rebalancing, and timber repairs were carried out to extend the life of the existing windows without replacement.
The project demonstrated our capability to manage complex logistics at scale within a live institutional environment.
